1. Background/Introduction
Kingston Destination Group has a mission to be the portal for inspired visitation for the Kingston and 1000 Islands Region. Within the scope of our operation we offer sightseeing tours and cruises aboard our vessels and trolleys to provide guests to the region with information and entertainment related to the destination. In an endeavour to remain on the cutting edge of sightseeing tourism we are interested in adding video visual aides to many of our experiences.
2. Project Goals and Scope of Services
This project will encompass the planning, assembling and editing of approximately 3 hours of visual content for monitors on the Island Belle and the Trolleys, for 3 experiences: Discovery Cruise, Hop On Hop Off Trolley, and Ghost and Mystery Trolley Tour. The visual content is to support the narrative being delivered by either live or pre-recorded tour guide commentary and should supplement the information being presented rather than distracting from the sights around. The content should be split into many segments, the longest of which being 4 min.
3. Anticipated Selection Schedule
Proposals will be accepted until 25 January 2019 at 4:55pm EST. The job will be awarded no later than 31 January at 4:55pm EST.

5. Timeline
All aspects of the project must be completed and all invoices filed by 15 March 2019.
6. Elements of Proposal
Past work: Please offer a production portfolio through physical or digital means. Include at least three separate projects.
Timeline: How long will it take you to research, assemble, edit and deliver the ~3hrs of content included in your proposal.
Cost: Please be as detailed as possible in your budget.
Concept: Please define in writing your concept for this project.
Support: Please indicate any support you will require form KDG during the execution of your proposal. Including use of assets, staff, or opportunities for follow-up meetings.
7. Evaluation Criteria
Harmony with Mission: We would ideally select a proposal which harmonizes with our mission as outlined in Section 1.
Past work in Tourism: Preference will be given to any candidate with a record of success in visual content production for the tourism industry.
Connection to local area: Preference will be given to candidates who operate primarily within the RTO9 region.
8. Possible Roadblocks
This project must be completed and all invoices paid by 31 March 2019. As such, no extension to the project timeline can be offered.

Submission must include detailed costing.
